🎤 Ali Safavian

About

Ali Safavian is a Dutch-Iranian singer equally at home in classical opera and traditional Persian music. He has performed at Amsterdam's Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ during the Minimal Music Festival, singing Persian songs alongside pianist Morteza Koroghli. His repertoire, rooted in Sufi and poetic traditions, fits well with festivals centred on Persian poetry and culture, such as the Nacht van Rumi.
