Alexis Ffrench

About

Alexis Ffrench (born 1970, Surrey) is a British pianist, composer and producer who blends classical training with soul and R&B in a style he calls 'Classical Soul'. Educated at the Purcell School, the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he built a vast streaming audience: his catalogue has surpassed one billion streams. His albums Evolution (2018), Dreamland (2020) and Classical Soul Vol. 1 (2024) all reached number one in the UK classical charts. Beyond performing, he serves as the first-ever Artistic Director in the 133-year history of the ABRSM and is an Honorary Fellow of Homerton College, Cambridge.
