Alcest + Agriculture
Alcest and Agriculture bring an evening of blackgaze to 013 Tilburg, two bands pushing the boundaries of metal.
Alcest is a French band from Bagnols-sur-Cèze, founded in 2000 as a solo project by multi-instrumentalist Neige (Stéphane Paut) and widely credited with pioneering the blackgaze genre - a style that fuses the raw intensity of black metal with dreamy shoegaze textures. Drummer Winterhalter joined in 2009, and the band has since released seven studio albums on Nuclear Blast, from the landmark 'Écailles de Lune' (2010) to 'Les Chants de l'Aurore' (2024). Their atmospheric sound draws listeners well beyond the metal world, and the band now tours across multiple continents.
Alcest announced a European and British tour for spring 2027, with Agriculture as support.
The band plays in October 2026 as special guest with Mastodon on the North American tour, together with Deafheaven.
Alcest played a Japanese tour in July 2025 to promote 'Les Chants de l'Aurore'; the Tokyo show was sold out.
The band released a tour film video clip for 'Améthyste', recorded during the 2024 European tour.
The seventh studio album 'Les Chants de l'Aurore' was released on 21 June 2024 via Nuclear Blast.
