Void of Metal: 2Destroy, Damnation & Arteria

Void of Metal is a creative collective founded by art students Ocean and Martijn, born from their shared passion for metal and design. They organize shows bringing together bands from different corners of the metal scene, with music always at the centre. On 9 January they take over Poppodium Corneel, featuring Damnation, 2Destroy and Arteria.

Damnation is a deathgroove band from Alkmaar. Since their formation in 2024, the band has released three live recordings: "Reign of the Undead", "Dreadbringer" and "Vein of Violence".

2Destroy from Zwolle takes a critical look at their own past and breaks things down each time to move forward stronger. In autumn 2026 their debut album The Weight of Desolation will be released, featuring a new sound: more dynamics, deeper lyrics, spoken word and influences from black metal.

Arteria is a Dutch death-groove metal band with roots in death metal and groove metal, complemented by influences from metalcore, deathcore, progressive metal and black metal. Artists such as Gojira, Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage served as inspiration for a sound where heavy riffs, complex rhythms and melodic passages alternate.
