Harlott + Struck A Nerve
Harlott and Struck A Nerve take the stage at Mukkes in Leeuwarden for an evening of heavy thrash metal. Harlott flies in from Australia bringing Bay Area riffs and Teutonic melodies, seasoned with the dry Aussie humour the band is known for. Struck A Nerve tears into the crowd with hammer-hard thrash metal and underground spirit.
Harlott draws from Bay Area classics but has carved their own path - Teutonic melodies woven in, themes of war, religion and chaos, all with a wink. On their latest album they take that sound to a new level.
Struck A Nerve combines a hardcore and brutal thrash foundation with the energy of Power Trip and Enforced and the old-school brutality of Slayer and Sodom. Their most recent album explores the presence of violence throughout history and how it keeps repeating. In the production they add death metal and crossover influences, including a hint of HM2 on the guitars.
