HE:LEEN Play - Ils & KIIK

HE:LEEN Play is a monthly collaboration with venue De Helling, taking place at LE:EN, THE DRAIN PLAY. Entry is free, but reserve a ticket to secure your spot. Reserved seats are released from 16:00, after which any waiting guests will be admitted. This event is seated.

Ils
Ils is a vocalist and artist who creates Dutch-language, jazzy indie-pop: distinctive, sometimes theatrical stories set to music. She paints with words - about the shop where you could buy letters, about loneliness and overthinking, about her red bicycle as her most treasured possession. On stage she is accompanied by Stijn Winter (guitar), Hugo Kurstjens (bass) and Filippos Samlidis (drums).

KIIK
KIIK makes indie pop that doesn't shy away from what hurts. With a dreamy, layered sound - inspired by Tom Odell, Billie Eilish and London Grammar - she seeks lightness in heavy subjects. Her debut EP Blackberry Bush (November 2025) explores intergenerational dreams, reliving moments and the prospect of saying goodbye in cinematic stories. In autumn 2026 she will release new music.
