DICE
DICE's music unmistakably sounds Australian: sunny, energetic and full of zest for life. Their feelgood garage rock - featuring indie hits like Double Espresso and Stop Sign - has already conquered their home country. Now it's Europe's turn, and it's happening fast. After an initial headline tour including De Helling and a sold-out Rotown, they return on 25 September with a new album full of catchy indie bangers.
The five-piece Melbourne band The Velvet Club opens the show. Their sound - screaming guitars, anthemic choruses - recalls indie legends like The Strokes and The Vaccines. They've been making waves since 2018, played the Australian festival Splendour In The Grass and performed sold-out headline shows in Melbourne. Their debut album Are You Falling In Love? recently came out, created during a creatively fertile period in which frontman AJ Tilyard also had to address his mental health.
On 25 September, DICE and The Velvet Club perform together at De Helling in Utrecht.
