Earthdance with Psychedelic Grateful Punks

Earthdance International has connected people worldwide for 29 years through music, dance and gatherings, promoting peace, connection and consciousness. The 2026 theme is "The Heart & Beat of Humanity" - a celebration of our shared human rhythm, with the belief that peace begins with the individual and grows stronger when people move together.

The Utrecht edition is organized by Psychedelic Grateful Punks (PGP), a small underground collective active in the psychedelic scene since the late 2000s. Before the squatting ban, they threw parties every weekend in occupied buildings or took a generator into the woods. Respect, community spirit and DIY mentality formed the foundation of that scene. Now, years later, PGP reignites that spirit in a new form, with nods to the past. Earthdance was previously hosted in the Netherlands by Trance Orient Express (Ruigoord), Namaste (Danzigerbocht) and Trance Buddha Bar, but has not been organized on a large scale since 2012.

Arrive on time - at 01:00 (in our timezone) the Global Synchronized Prayer for Peace takes place worldwide simultaneously, with thousands of people participating. PGP calls out: ravers, ecstatic dancers, queers, aliens, psychonauts, hippies, punks, earthlings young (18+) and old.
