Betweter Festival

The Betweter Festival celebrates its tenth edition with an unconventional programme combining science, art, film and music. The event explores relevant questions and seeks meaning in chaotic times.

The line-up includes journalist Sander Schimmelpenninck and social scientist Marcel Lubbers discussing the 'angry citizen', neuroscientist Brankele Frank on music as stimulation, and topics ranging from the search for extraterrestrial life to the control of our own thoughts and the relationship between debt and criminal behaviour.

Beyond talks and interviews, the festival features art installations, film screenings, live research, a scientific pillow fight and culinary tastings. Those wanting to continue the party afterwards can head to Pop-O-Matic in Pandora.
