WereldWijde Wijk Serumplein is an open-air event by Rotterdams Volkstheater and GROUNDS, featuring cultural activities and initiatives from the neighbourhood. This edition is organized in collaboration with Mathenesse aan de Maas.

The stage hosts music, street acts and dance performances by amateurs and professionals: Latin American music by Ysa Bermejo, spoken word by Moze Naél, magic by Olivier Quist, singer-songwriter T-Lone, Bulgarian folk dance by Sborenka, jazz/pop/bossanova by Tjilp and street acts by Ruut van Hooft.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnic - food and drinks from home are welcome.

About: Moze Naél

Moze Naél is a Dutch spoken word artist and poet who works across poetry, music and visuals. He released the EP 'Lange Leegtes' and created the audiovisual project 'Dicht bij zee, ver van huis'. His live show 'Zielsrust' was made in collaboration with composer Winterdagen, light artist Nick Verstand and three-time world breaking champion Menno van Gorp.

About: Tjilp

Tjilp is the band of Rotterdam-based singer-songwriter Merel van Tellingen, blending jazz, bossa nova and pop. Their debut album came out in 2024 following a successful crowdfunding campaign. Live, Merel is joined by guitar, trumpet, double bass and percussion.
