"The Writing on the Stall" ist Caitlin Cooks musikalische Comedy-Show, buchstäblich in einer Kneipentolette angesiedelt. Die Graffiti an den Toilettentüren bilden den Text ihrer Originalsongs und den roten Faden der Aufführung. Durch diese unverblümten, ergreifenden und regelmäßig obszönen Botschaften setzt sich Cook damit auseinander, was Menschen miteinander teilen und wofür sie einander verantwortlich sind. Die Show hatte bereits mehrfach ausverkaufte Aufführungen in Off-Broadway-Produktionen, nationalen Tourneen und kürzlich beim Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
